Fin de semana largo de noviembre: cómo se conforma el próximo feriado turístico en Argentina. El mes de noviembre traerá uno de los últimos fines de semana largos del año. Según el calendario oficial de feriados 2025, el viernes 21 de noviembre será día no laborable con fines turísticos, mientras que el lunes 24 se celebrará el Día de la Soberanía Nacional, feriado trasladable desde su fecha original del 20 de noviembre.
Con esta disposición, el Gobierno busca promover la actividad turística y favorecer el movimiento económico en distintos destinos del país, configurando un fin de semana extra largo de cuatro días que se extenderá desde el viernes 21 hasta el lunes 24 inclusive. El Día de la Soberanía Nacional conmemora la histórica Batalla de la Vuelta de Obligado, ocurrida en 1845, cuando las fuerzas argentinas resistieron la invasión anglo-francesa sobre el río Paraná.
Esta fecha, instituida como feriado nacional en 2010, celebra la defensa de la soberanía territorial y la identidad nacional. Por su parte, el feriado turístico del 21 de noviembre forma parte de los días no laborables dispuestos por el Poder Ejecutivo con el objetivo de fomentar el turismo interno. Los fines de semana con fines turísticos conforme lo prescriptos por el art. 7 de la Ley N° 27.399, Decreto 1027/2024.
Según el Ministerio del Interior, este tipo de fines de semana prolongados permite fortalecer economías regionales y mejorar la ocupación hotelera en vísperas de la temporada de verano. De esta manera, el penúltimo mes del año ofrecerá una oportunidad ideal para descansar, viajar o realizar escapadas cortas antes del cierre del calendario laboral.
