El fin de la metáfora: la fábrica que cerró con Milei se liquida por Mercado Libre. La planta de Dass en Coronel Suárez, que empleaba a 360 trabajadores, cerró tras la apertura comercial del gobierno de Javier Milei. Hoy se ofrece en Mercado Libre por 5,5 millones de dólares (VER AVISO …).
Coronel Suárez fue durante décadas un polo productivo de calzado deportivo. Allí funcionaba la planta de la multinacional brasileña Dass, proveedora de Adidas, que en enero de 2025 anunció el cierre de sus operaciones y dejó a 360 trabajadores sin empleo, un golpe fuerte para una ciudad de poco más de 35 mil habitantes.
Las instalaciones de lo que fue Dass se liquidan hoy, a valor dólar, en la plataforma de Mercado Libre, la nave insignia de Marcos Galperín, uno de los empresarios favoritos de Javier Milei, libertario pero beneficiado por subsidios estatales de 100 millones de dólares por año.
El cierre de Dass guarda estrechos vínculos con la política económica del trío Milei – Caputo – Sturzenegger. La apertura de instalaciones hizo que Adidas encontrara costos más convenientes en otros países y dejara de comprarle a la planta de Suárez.
La Provincia intentó mediar, pero la compañía mantuvo su decisión y envió telegramas de despido cuando el personal estaba de vacaciones. El contraste es evidente: donde se cierran fábricas, se pierden empleos y se fortalecen los intermediarios digitales que terminan siendo el canal para liquidar sus activos.
A los pocos meses del cierre, la fábrica apareció publicada en Mercado Libre por la inmobiliaria Toribio Achával. El aviso ofrece 40.000 m² cubiertos en un terreno de 109.000 m², con ocho naves industriales, oficinas, comedor, vestuarios, un SUM y hasta un consultorio médico, todo por 5,5 millones de dólares.
La descripción del inmueble la define como “ideal logística e inversión”. Se trata de una infraestructura pensada para producción a gran escala que hoy busca comprador en la misma plataforma donde se comercializan las zapatillas importadas que reemplazaron a la industria local. / Infocielo
