Siembra clandestina: secuestran más de 600 plantas de cannabis en Coronel Suárez. Estaban sembradas en cinco parcelas de unos 24 metros cuadrados cada una.
Personal del Comando de Prevención Rural de Coronel Suárez secuestró casi 700 plantas de cannabis en el desmantelamiento de una plantación clandestina ubicada en las inmediaciones de un camino vecinal.
El hallazgo fue posible gracias al llamado de un empleado rural quien reportó que en el sector conocido como “Cruce los Chilenos”, había personas ajenas al campo en lugar.
Los policías rastrillaron la zona y en las inmediaciones del arroyo Sauce Corto, se detectaron unos senderos que los condujeron a cinco parcelas con una superficie aproximada de 24 m² cada uno, cultivadas con plantas de cannabis sativa.

En total se extrajo, por orden de la Unidad Funcional de Instrucción y Juicio Nº 19 a cargo del Dr. Mauricio del Cero, un total de 654 plantas algunas de ellas adultas sin flor y otras con flor. Además, en el lugar había varias masetas plásticas descartables vacías, elementos de desmonte y de riego como mangueras, baldes, etc.
El pesaje total de lo secuestrado fue de 23,445 kilogramos y se continuarán las investigaciones para establecer quiénes estuvieron realizando la siembra de estas plantas en el lugar.
La policía aclaró que si bien la plantación clandestina de cannabis se encontraba en proceso, si hubiese llegado a su estado de comercialización su valor rondaría cientos de millones de pesos.
