Caputo amenaza con la coparticipación para forzar a municipios a que bajen las tasas. El ministro de Economía envió una carta a los gobernadores, Pide que excluyan del reparto de las coparticipación a los municipios que cobran tasas cuyo valor “no guarde proporcionalidad con el servicio” prestado.
El ministro de Economía nacional, Luis Caputo, retomó hoy la presión para obligar a que municipios bajen las tasas que cobran a su contribuyentes con una amenaza de descontar esos montos de los fondos coparticipables que envía a las provincias.
De acuerdo a un comunicado difundido esta tarde por el ministerio de Economía, Caputo envió una carta a los 23 gobernadores y el jefe de gobierno porteño “en la que se les solicitó que implementen medidas” para que los municipios deroguen tasas municipales.
Específicamente, Caputo apuntó a aquellas tasas “que su valor no guarde proporcionalidad con el costo de la prestación del servicio, …

Caputo había iniciado una cruzada contra las tasas que considera altas el año pasado, cuando apuntó específicamente a municipios bonaerenses gobernados por intendentes de La Cámpora. Ese antecedente le da marco a la buena embestida del Ministro, aunque esta vez la comunicación oficial es para todo el país.
La particularidad en este caso es que Caputo puso sobre la mesa la Coparticipación que reciben las provincias y los municipios, con el objetivo de que los Gobernadores presionen a los gobernadores para que ellos, a su vez, operen sobre los intendentes.
En ese plano, en la nota “se pidió intimar a los municipios para que, en el caso de que no cumplan con lo señalado, se los suspenda en su participación de la masa coparticipable”, indicó Economía. (DIB)
