Casi 7.000 aspirantes se anotaron para comenzar carreras en la UNS en 2025. Con un total de 6.814 anotados, cerró el período de inscripciones para interesados e interesadas en comenzar alguna de las 67 carreras que dicta la Universidad Nacional del Sur. “Estamos muy conformes con el número. Aunque bajó levemente la cantidad de inscriptos de la zona, sigue siendo un registro muy alto”, indicó el subsecretario de Coordinación Académica, el Doctor David Waiman.
Ese número incluye a los anotados por primera vez, los pases de carrera y los aspirantes mayores de 25 años sin secundario completo, que se anotan de acuerdo a lo dispuesto por el artículo 7 de la Ley de Educación Superior. “El número es muy positivo y nos muestra que miles de jóvenes de todo el país siguen valorando a la universidad pública en general y a nuestra universidad en particular -porque tenemos inscriptos de lugares tan distantes como Cuyo, la Patagonia, o Entre Ríos- como un espacio de oportunidades, de excelencia y de progreso social, donde pueden darle forma a su vocación y construir un futuro mejor”, afirmó el rector, Doctor Daniel Vega.
La carrera con más interesados es Medicina, con 693 inscriptos para realizar el “Trayecto de Afiliación Universitaria”, que deben llevar a cabo todos los aspirantes durante un año, para luego rendir el examen de ingreso. Esta es la única carrera que tiene este requisito y cupo, por su modalidad de dictado.
Le siguen la Tecnicatura Universitaria en Acompañamiento Terapéutico, con 610 y la licenciatura en Seguridad Pública, con 584. Esta última es un ciclo de complementación para quienes ya poseen un título terciario y se dicta a distancia.
Luego se ubicaron: Abogacía con 499, Licenciatura en Enfermería con 483, Arquitectura con 382 y Contador con 259. La nueva Tecnicatura Universitaria en Deportes, que se ofrecerá por primera vez en 2025, tuvo 135 interesados. En total, las once ingenierías que se dictan en la UNS sumaron 1.065 inscriptos, encabezadas por la ingeniería en Sistemas de Información con 256. Si bien bajó el porcentaje de inscriptos de la zona, se mantiene aproximadamente en un 60% de Bahía Blanca y 40% de otras localidades, cuando habitualmente era 55 a 45.
“Es clara la tendencia a elegir tecnicaturas, es decir, carreras más cortas, y formatos virtuales”, indicó Waiman, ya que las 10 tecnicaturas que ofrece la UNS recogieron 1.161 anotados, y el ciclo de complementación en Seguridad Pública fue uno de los más requeridos”. Cabe destacar que esta última es una propuesta única en su tipo en el país, por ser abierta a todos quienes posean título preuniversitario y con un enfoque muy novedoso. Además, es gratuita y de modo no presencial, lo que explica el interés.
